Winter Wonders

This image shows the the Winter Milky Way arching over the Tschuggen Observatory in Arosa, Switzerland.

 

I captured the image after a long day of skiing. Fatigue wasn't the main problem when capturing this image, though. While the cold winter air kept me awake, the snowcats grooming the slopes for another day of skiing fun, blinded my camera during many exposures. Considering those difficulties, I am quite happy how this image turned out.
