Lighthouse Eclipse

While capturing the partial solar eclipse under the Long Beach Lighthouse, I noticed that it cast a shadow behind me. That got me thinking.

 

Since I could see the shadow of the lighthouse top, it was possible to capture the eclipsed sun behind it. I quickly moved my tripod to the end of the shadow and framed the eclipsed sun with the lighthouse top.
