Table with a View
I've seen plenty of beautiful picnic tables, but not many with better views than this one in California's Sierra Nevada. Even in daylight, the landscape looked breathtaking, but after dark, it became even more beautiful.
The image proves that a little light pollution can look good in landscape astrophotography. The orange glow on the horizon caused by light from the Central Valley fades gently into natural green air glow. The summer Milky Way with its dark dust lanes and red hydrogen emission nebulae completes the breathtaking image.
EXIF
Canon EOS-R, astro-modified
Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8
IDAS NBZ filter
iOptron SkyTracker Pro
Sky:
Stack of 6x 90s @ ISO1600, unfiltered & 3x 180s, filtered
Foreground:
Focus stack of 5x 6s @ ISO1600, during twilight
