Caldera de Taburiente
During my June astrophotography trip to the Canary Islands with my buddy Benjamin Barakat, we found this nice group of Tajinaste Rosado at the rim of the Caldera de Taburiente on the island of La Palma.
Reaching the flowers required us to clamber down a rather steep slope with some loose volcanic rock. Hiking back in the dark proved to be a bit hairy and we were glad when we finally reached the trail in one piece, but the gorgeous view, with the stunning flowers in the foreground, was well worth the effort.
