Heardsman's View

The Swiss mountains are dotted with Alpine huts, which serve as summer quarters for the heardsmen or as stables for the cattle they graze.

From autumn to spring, these huts are untenanted. During this period, their sole use is for equipment storage and to serve as foreground for the intrepid landscape astrophotographer, who isn't afraid of stepping into a cowpat at night.
