Aiming for the Hunter [Explored]

Thanks to narrowband filters, deep space imaging with the moon in the sky is not a problem, but the best filters are of little help if a snowcat is blinding your scope with its floodlights. At least the back lighting provided nice illumination for this behind the scenes selfie.

 

If you wonder why you see double, the smaller twin rig of mine is the newest toy of Benjamin Barakat who joined me for this shooting.
