Stars and Lightning

Here is the first still image I developed from a single exposure out of my recently posted time lapse movie (see previous post).

 

It shows a very active storm cell with several lightning bolts underneath. Red airglow is visible in the lower sky above the horizon and along the right edge of the frame you can see the dim Cygnus section of the Milky Way with the prominent red North America Nebula.
