Cathedrals

I captured this image during a very cloudy night in Capitol Reef NP. After waiting for about two hours, I noticed a clearing and started shooting. After a few images, the sky seemed completely covered again, but I stubbornly finished my panorama against better knowledge that it probably was not worth the hassle.

When I checked my images at home, I discovered that I had been completely wrong and that the most interesting parts of the summer Milky Way were visible, while the clouds added a great mood.
