Channel Sunrise

Sun- and moonrise over South England with the lights of Ashford, Folkestone and Dover.

 

On the continental side of the English Channel the towns of Dunkerque and Calais can be seen as well.

 

Above all a very colorful sunrise was unfolding, crowned by a thin crescent moon with a clearly visible earthshine.
