Macario Selling Hammocks (Chiapas, Mexico)

I gave Macario a copy of this picture and he was very pleased. He asked me for my e-mail address, and I gave it to him. I asked him for his e-mail addres in exchange, and he told me he didn't have e-mail.

So I said, "If you don't have e-mail, why did you want my e-mail address?"

And he told me he had heard of e-mail and planned to get it someday.

Needless to say, I have never heard from him
