aleahanne: Much colder, 30's-40's. We had snow/rain yesterday. It's been crappy here for awhile now.
skotjay: @aleahanne I guess no one is happy, because that sounds amazing! Bear in mind that the sweaty, hair-frizzing humidity that is a 86° heat index is what we're stuck with for "winter." The temp will only steadily climb from here. You would think that being ranked in the top 10 rainiest cities in the U.S. and the top 10 most humid would cool Lake Charles off a bit, but not so... (we also rank in the top 10 for number of thunderstorms per year).
aleahanne: Oh yeah, I actually like the rain and cold, but would love a little break. It rains a lot here haha (Seattle). I understand the hot and getting hotter tho. I lived in PHX for 10 years. It never cooled down, and in july/August/September we got the monsoons so it was humid. I just hope we (in Seattle) actually get summer this year, we didn't get one last year.
skotjay: @aleahanne Yeah, we actually vacationed in Seattle last July. I kept checking the weather back here in Louisiana, seeing the 114° heat indexes and saying... our days in the South are numbered. P.S., if you get the chance, you should Google the inches /year of rainfall that Seattle averages, then compare it to the inches/year of rainfall that Lake Charles, LA averages
