skotjay: @kristiinah I had never really used it before, but that's why I love participating in the hipstaroll challenges. It gets me out of my comfort zone. This is now one of my favorite combos, as well.
kristiinah: Hipstaroll is so cool, I'm glad I found it. It's also very special because there is no competition.
skotjay: @kristiinah Agreed. Competition more often than not bores me completely. The thing I love most about hipstaroll is how much more you can learn about a combination in a much shorter time. Seeing how it captures in so many different lighting and texture situations. Discovering little quirks in days that might take months, or years, if you ever caught it at all
This combo is a great example. When seeing the stream for this week, I kept noticing just a hint of color here and there with certain reds & blues. It's what took this from a combo I never used to one of my favorite B&W combos!
