Rainbow Falls

Rainbow Springs State Park.

I was hoping to make an attempt to see a real waterfall for this theme. But I live in Florida, which is basically flat and maybe only has about 3-4 natural waterfalls, mostly in the northern portion of the state, about a 2+ hour drive away. But what we lack in natural waterfalls, we more than make up for it with man-made ones.

This is located in Rainbow Springs State Park, in the western part of my county. It's very popular area for swimming in the headsprings, as well as tubing and kayaking down the Rainbow River that stem from the springs. However, before it was a state park, it was privately run, and had 3 man-made waterfalls constructed during that time.

Because of all the tree coverage where these are located, I didn't even need a neutral density filter to slow the shutter speed down. I just used a polarizer to reduce the glare to an amount that I thought looked nice. However, I struggled to get a good composition because of fence and sign placement.
