Salt Cathedral

A UNESCO heritage site, the Wieliczka salt mine was started in the 13th century. Spending so much of their time below ground, miners carved out sculptures and even a cathedral out of the salt. The chandeliers are even made of salt. Closed in the 1990s due to the low price of salt, it is open to tourists. This is the Chapel of St. Kinga.
