Lord Vader 1 ROTJ iPhone
An update to my ultimate Darth Vader - I have completed the body sculpt and have added a coat of black paint to the form but haven't added shading nor any details yet. My main objective right now is to create three Vader helmets, each having a distinct look to the episode they appeared in (A New Hope, Empire and Jedi). The helmet for ROTJ is more Royalty, polished to perfection yet weaker and more vulnerable than the other two...which fits with the storyline. Got a way to go with this one- again, I think the eye pieces need to be larger. Once I have the look down, the only difference I see with the other two would be the shine and shape of the dome piece. After I have finalized all three, I will go back and create a helmet that can be broken down into the three components. After that, sculpts of Vader's head to fit the helmets, and possibly additional articulation to the body. So I have a looonnngg way to go :)
