Balloons Over Masterton. 25th April 2010
What a lovely Anzac day morning we are having here in the Wairarapa. Just after sunrise many balloons were to be seen in the sky around Masterton advertising this years "balloon day" on the 7th of May.
Balloon Day is the Asthma Foundation's annual asthma awareness and fundraising campaign. This year and Asthma Awareness Week runs from 3 to 9 May inclusive. Mitre 10 stores around New Zealand will have point of sale boxes on their checkouts for the week. For a gold coin donation, you can take away a red Balloon Day lollipop.
