RKG-3

The Ruchnaya Kumulyativnaya Granata (Hand-held Shaped Charge Grenade) is a Russian designed antitank grenade. When the pin is pulled, grenade thrown, and spoon falls off a parachute deploys from the handle of the grenade. This creates just enough drag to insure that the grenade arcs in such a way that the shaped charge (orientated towards the top of the grenade) the perpendicularly impacts the roof of the target vehicle. This insures a full 125mm RHAe (Rolled Homogeneous Armor equivalent, how much armor grade steel the weapon will penetrate) penetration from the shaped charges steel liner. The RKG-3 is best used in either a short range ambush or as a defense of last resort against lightly armored vehicles. However, the small size and weight allow the RKG-3 to be carried and used when a larger AT weapon would not be practical.
