These quaint bridges between the buildings date back to the days when London’s Butler’s Wharf was where trade was unloaded. These days they’ve been incorporated into slick, upmarket developments. Without gardens, these wealthy residents have seized on the opportunity to fill them with plants. By Mark Higham.
