Warm Hands

Focal length: 4"

Pinhole diameter: approx. 0.5mm

Paper negative: 7" x 5"

Exposure time: 1 minute 40 seconds

Mid afternoon, bright sunshine.

I was scared of underexposing this considering I had my hands shading the pinhole. What I hadn't accounted for was my left palm in such a position that it was actually having the reverse effect and acting like a reflector, hence this ended up a little overexposed. Which is a shame because it would have been easier to keep still for less time. ;) I could have shot another straight after this one, but I was ready to pack up for the day by this point. I think I might try more with things with hands at somepoint.

What I think is quite fun about this is how my nose looks quite big because of the way the light is hitting it and the slight movement in the position of my face. I actually have quite a dinky little snout.
