Chenonceau Approach - 792

This is the tree lined approach to Chateau de Chenonceau a beautiful 16th century Loire Valley palace. In 1547 King Henry II gave the chateau to his mistress, Diane de Poitiers. When Henry II died Catherine de Medici kicked Diane out and added the three story structure over the river.
