Brown [broun]

1. A common-place color that blends easily with surrounding objects and is not generally noticed.

2. A color similar to that of beige, coffee, ecru, fawn, hazel, ocher, russet, sorrel, and umber.

3. A tone normally seen as bleak, characterless, dingy, muddy, same, shabby, uninspired.

 

Hot chocolate. Tree bark. Familiar. Mud. Old books. Boots. My hair. Warmth. Fall. Comfortable.

Okay. So it may have been three weeks since the start of my color project, and I apologize for that. But I'm enjoying the process and the calm of not having to stress about taking photos everyday. I was in Boston with my dad this weekend, and this photo was actually taken in my hotel room one night. Hooray for really bad lighting! I hope everyone is having a good week and is getting enough sleep (if that's even possible with school, a job, social life, etc haha).
