Thoughts
If you're lazy or don't have the time, just read the bold.
I have so many thoughts and ideas bouncing around in my head right now, and by uploading this photo and writing in this little apricot-colored box, I am attempting to clear it.
First, I need to write a little about my 365 project, just so I can vent a little. I'm at a point in the project where I'm having some trouble being creative and where taking photos everyday is slowly becoming a chore. I really hate that and I'm fighting against it as much as possible. Don't take this the wrong way; I am not at all thinking of quitting or anything like that. I've gotten so far and I don't want to give up now. I just can't wait for the day when my stream will be free of photos I don't like, free of last-minute endeavors of coming up with something creative or acceptable. I guess that's really what this project is about - growth and determination in the face of forcing yourself to be creative and different every single day.
Speaking of growth, I was looking at Shae's 365 photo for today and read that she is thinking of getting a film camera. For some reason, that immediately lit a spark in me and I was completely enraptured with the idea of getting my own film camera in the very near future. I was looking at Pentax k-1000's on ebay when I remembered my mom's old film Canon rebel that she never uses and keeps in her closet. I pulled it out and started messing with it, then just decided to stow it in my closet since she doesn't care and I think I might end up loving it. So just be prepared flickr, you may eventually see some film on here. :)
Also, I have really been wanting to say this for a long time: THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERY SINGLE PERSON ON FLICKR. You guys inspire me and help me keep my head above the water.
And lastly, I have been contemplating changing my flickr name. I would feel bad for confusing everyone, but I might really enjoy doing something fresh and different, and to me my name is starting to feel stale. What do you think?
I told you my thoughts, now you tell me yours.
This photo is from day sixty.
