Seattle, Washington

Here's a few more shots from our trip to Washington last month.

 

The first shot (above) was taken on the ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge Island.

 

The second shot (top, below) was taken from Kerry Park where you'll find a spectacular overlook of the whole city right in the middle of a very ritzy neighborhood. If you squint and stare really hard, you can just make out the ghostly visage of Mount Rainier behind the right side of the skyline - the one and only glimpse we got of the volcano the whole week.

 

The last photo (bottom, below) is the iconic Space Needle towering above a new Dale Chihuly exhibit that was still being assembled and therefore not open during our visit. Chihuly, an incredible glass artist, was born in nearby Tacoma, WA.
