Bigfoot. No Wait, Bears!
I was on my way out of the National Park yesterday when I drove past a van stopped in the middle of the road. They were obviously looking at something in the woods, but I didn't see anything there at first. I had almost decided to just keep driving when I saw a bear pop it's head up. I threw my car into park and grabbed my camera. I was excited to take pictures of any bear since I didn't get any photos of the bears Christine and I saw on Wednesday, but then I noticed one little bear head and then another pop up - bear cubs! I couldn't believe my luck.
There were 3 cubs in all, but I couldn't get a photo with all of them in it. Shortly after I took this shot, the driver of the van shouted at me "There are cubs up there!", which scared the bears into hiding behind a large rock. The photos would have turned out better if I had the 100-400mm L lens that I covet, but I'm still thrilled that I got to see bear cubs!
