Snow Capped Mountains (Shenandoah National Park)
Skyline Drive was finally open this weekend, for the first time in what seems like months! The snow and winds have kept the park crews busy trying to clear the roads since our last major snowfall in early February. While most of the snow in the valley has melted, there's still a LOT of snow left along the drive - in most spots it was piled at least as high as the sideview mirror on my car. At the overlooks, I could just barely see over the mountains of snow without standing on my toes. I climbed on top of one to snap a photo of the beautiful views of the snow capped mountains.
