Blizzard of '09
If you've been listening to the news over the last few days, you know we're experiencing the apocalypse, aka Blizzard of '09 here on the East coast. At our house, that amounted to about 2" of snow with a thin layer of ice on top. I love snow, but I hate crunchy snow! I'm not complaining too much though, since it got me a day off of work :)
Here's Ginger venturing out into the snow in her new coat. Yes, I bought my dog a coat. She was shivering when she went outside! Plus, it looks cute. She may look intrigued by the snow in this shot, but it's really the neighbor's kids she's interested in. They were next door playing in the snow and she really wanted to go over to say hi. She was totally unfazed by the snow, except for maybe being a little annoyed that she couldn't quite sniff the ground like she's used to.
Ginger has been settling in with us very nicely. She's by far the most well behaved dog I've ever owned! And she's getting braver by the day. While she's comfortable roaming around the whole first floor of the house now, Ginger is too afraid of the stairs to go down into the finished basement yet. We're working on that. We're still working on getting her totally healthy too, but she's almost there. Her favorite hobby is trying to kill us with her cuteness.
