Look Who's Back!
At the end of May, I was lucky enough to find a newborn fawn standing in my backyard one morning. I've been keeping an eye out for him (her?) ever since, but I've only seen adult does or bucks in the yard. When I got home Wednesday evening, I stepped out onto the deck to check on my bird feeders and found this little guy standing in my backyard, helping himself to the squirrel food! He's grown quite a bit since I last saw him. We've also mowed the lawn, so it no longer resembles an overgrown field.
These shots aren't the best. I took them through a glass door around dusk so I had to use ISO 1600, but I just couldn't resist.
