Sunday's Sunrise (Shenandoah National Park)
Sunday was a day of mostly failed photography attempts. Christine and I went hiking at SNP hoping to get some pretty Fall waterfall shots at Rose River. Unfortunately when we got there, we found the leaves still very green and almost no water in the waterfall. For all that hiking, I ended up with only one mediocre waterfall photo that I may or may not post later.
Luckily, we took a moment to stop at the South River Overlook on the way out to Rose River and caught this beautiful sunrise, so the trip wasn't a total bust. Of course it wasn't until we were about to leave that I realized I accidentally shot everything at ISO 800! (Note to self - always check ISO settings before shooting.) I was able to fire off this one shot after fixing the ISO before we left.
