Flash Verde (Green Flash)
Durante o pôr do Sol de 11 de fevereiro de 2012 em Curitiba, houve a formação de alguns flashes verdes, um dos quais é retratado aqui. O flash verde é um fenômeno causado pelas variações verticais de temperatura na atmosfera da Terra, em que um pedaço do Sol parece se destacar de sua superfície e assumir a cor verde.
During the sunset of February 11th, 2012, in Curitiba (southern Brazil), several green flashes have formed, one of which is pictured here. The green flash is a phenomenum caused by the variations in vertical temperature of the Earth's atmosphere, where a small portion of the Sun seems to detach from its surface and assume the greenish color.
