Week 27 Small Things

 

Don't want to bore anyone further with these sugar grain shots, but I had to try and get something closer with another (fairly old) lens. What you\'re seeing here is somewhere around 1.5 mm across, so my guess is we\'re roughly looking at a 25:1 magnification. It gets almost impossible to get any decent image quality at that magnification with my current setup. So this will certainly remain the smallest thing I\'m going to shoot for this weeks CC theme. As pointed out by CC Camerawork (who created some great shots in this sugar/salt experimentation) there are many more interesting small things to shoot which require less time and proof to be less frustrating. 😅
