I've read that the CU in the name of this Mamiya-Sekor CU 65 mm F 5.6 lens stands for "close up", so this might actually be a regular medium format macro lens. However my specific sample came in a so-called Oscillograph - a camera to capture images of oscilloscope screens. A lot of other lenses used for this purpose are significantly faster than this one, but for some reason it's a lens I like very much.
As you would suspect from Mamiya it is a pretty good lens for what it was designed for: close-ups and macros, And the 65 mm focal length is quite a nice and versatile one as well.
As usual I invite you to take a look at the album to get an impression of what I used this lens for.
Shot with a Carl Zeiss "Sonnar 50 mm F 1.5" (Burke & James mount) lens on a Canon EOS R5.
