John Lord Roos
Two of the de Roos family died in the Hundred Years war, John Lord Roos and his brother William were killed following Henry V in 1421 at the battle of Beauge. John was buried at Croxton Abbey with his father William Baron Roos but their tombs were moved to Bottesford Church after the Dissolution.
Like his father, he wears a conical bascinet helmet with a jewelled margin inscribed IHC NASARE (Jesus of Nazareth).
