I was driving to work when I spotted this owl, calmly perched by the edge of a wood, not far from my home. Of course I didn't have my camera with me, but she obligingly remained in place while I raced home to get the gear. She even stuck around when I sped home a second time to get a teleconverter (with which I took this shot).
