Peregrine falcon, immature female
Landing on a favoured oak, Boundary Bay.
I have now seen this peregrine on three consecutive weeks in this same tree, an oak giving an excellent vantage of the shore and a stubble field. She defends it vigorously against all comers, from harriers and Cooper's hawks to other peregrines.
