Short eared owl and northern harrier (5 of 5)

This short eared owl, having caught a vole, rose triumphantly with her catch - only to be mobbed by three harriers and a rough legged hawk. It was all a bit too much for her as she quickly dropped her prize (none of the other birds actually caught it, so perhaps the vole had a very lucky escape).
