Barn swallows
A hungry fledgling is fed by her very attentive parent. Another sibling was just off to the left. Their parents spent about 45 minutes feeding them on this line, before they all flew off. However, photographing the moment of transfer was not easy, as wings covered the act, the photographer was too slow, or the parent came in from the "wrong" direction and entirely obscured the chick. When working with a long lens, these fast fliers are a real challenge to keep in focus.
