Hello
Here are a some photos of Simon (and related) from Edinburgh 2009.
The first photo (DSC08923) was taken on Wednesday 26/8/09. It was after the
second part of the AGM, on the steps near Lord Bodos.
The other photos are from Friday 28/8/09 at the same location. As I had my
eyes closed in the photo on Wednesday, I asked if I could have another photo
with them. Simon agreed, but insisted that he and Mac had their eyes
closed.
The following two pictures are of my friend Kate Cherrell and I - we'd been
asked to look after the AGM bucket while Simon rounded up other people for
the second 'act' - for a few minutes it looked like it would just be the
three of us. We decided to take the opportunity to pose with the bucket. I
have no idea why my neck looks like it did.
The last picture is of the Stand's AGM ticket. Annoyingly (though
understandably), they tore the tickets in half. I felt it was a shame as it
was a nice looking ticket.
A quick story from the 28th - Kate and I had been on the 26th and thought it
would be fun if we recycled a few questions on the 28th, but with subtle
changes (e.g. one which talked about houses in Edinburgh was changed to
China). We did about 6 in total. We felt bad a little later, though, as
Simon seemed confused by the repetition. He asked Mac about it, but Mac had
been packing away during most of Wednesday's so he had not heard them
before. He posited that it must have been the staff at that Stand, but
realised that they would not have heard them. He was sure he had them on
Thursday. We enjoyed causing such confusion, and such a unique experience,
but we felt quite bad about it and decided not to admit to it. Indeed, this
is the first time I've told anyone else.
Hope the photos are useful.
