Another day, another abstract rock study from my time on Arran. I rarely shoot abstracts in direct sunlight, preferring the soft, even light of an overcast day. However, particularly when away on a trip, you have to work with what you're given. This particular day was sunny, my least favourite conditions. But as the day progressed, the harsh overhead sunlight gave way to low, angled lighting, revealing, form, colour and texture in the rock.
