Mountain Light, Isle of Arran, Scotland
While many landscape photographers spend a lot of time chasing the light, I tend to prefer smaller, intimate subjects in soft or overcast conditions. Although I sometimes wonder if that's just because I live in a wet, cloudy place. Whatever the case, I'm not immune to the charms of the big view, particularly when it looks like this. Not for nothing is Arran known as 'Scotland in Miniature'.
