Great Links Tor, Dartmoor, Devon, UK
Encouraged by the promising conditions and lacking the long lens I needed at this distance (this image is cropped), I decided to extend my walk to Great Links Tor, which you can see here on the far ridge line. You get a feeling for these things though, and mine were telling me it was going to rain. A lot. Enough so that this is the only shot I have. I might have liked to crop in even tighter. But having already ditched half of the original full resolution file, I settled on this composition. Ideally, of course, I would have shot it with a tele-zoom. But then I would have had to carry it (and buy one). It's something I'm thinking about.
