Mechanics - A City Skyline At Night by Simon & His Camera
Ok is this Macro well - it is defined as a type of close-up photography and it is making small things large.
Well this image is close up of smallish things and they have been made to look large - giant even.
By some definitions, a macro photograph is one in which the size of the subject is life size or greater. However in other uses it refers to a finished photograph of a subject at greater than life size.
This is a representation of a city skyline made up of nuts, bolts, screws etc in definition what a city is made of, the working parts you may say.
------------------------------------------
I also got the idea from a fellow flickr member who has done a much better image but I wanted to do a night version - www.flickr.com/photos/batiks/8625177130/in/faves-simon__s...
The best thing with this original image is you see a city skyline first then on closer view you then notice what it's made of - that is one thing I wanted to achieve but that's not easy with a dark image.
