Lumineoles - Lumiere London 2016 by Simon Hadleigh-Sparks

This is my version of this particular installation........

Blended night image, first in a while,

Originally commissioned for the Fete des Lumières Lyon

 

Dream-like creatures flying against the wind, illuminating the night sky.

 

Lit by LEDs, these brightly coloured fish danced gracefully with the elements, delighting audiences as they swooped through the air. Exotic flower lanterns were strung up between buildings.

 

Porté par le vent take inspiration from light and the elements for their beautiful creations, transforming everyday locations into atmospheric dreamlands. Their imaginary world reimagined Durham’s Market Place and London’s Piccadilly as never before.

 

Les Luminéoles was part of the Lumiere Durham 2015 and Lumiere London 2016.
