Staff car - DDR Kubelwagens were the coolest light military vehicles ever. Don't argue that. And especially early Wartburg-Kubel with its WW2 aesthetics on 50s era car. But 2 stroke engines weren't. And for tall elven boys I wanted some larger car so Horch with its V6 was perfect.
MLRS - when I was thinking what to build as local heavy vehicle, the first idea was tracked vehicle. The second one - soviet tracked logging tractor! After some inflating, it become really close to tge KrAZ truck in dimensions and even appearence. However that chassis was used only to place some lame Smerch-alike tubes. Shame on me.
Airborne tank - Object 685, that bad boy had a LOT of space inside with its compact and low-profile engine, externally being really close to MBT in terms of size. Probably, that is the most comfy light tank in DC, featuring water boiler (fuck that summer and all plumbering I had to do during it), hightest tier air conditioning and WC! There was a lot of space I had to fill. Oh, and 100mm was just laughable so i put 125mm instead, so it became sort of better Sprut. Why not?
