patchwork fields - fountainstown beach and the minane river

Taken on a flight from Cork - Stansted - Ryanair as usual :-)

We'd not long left Cork airport and flew out to East-South-East direction.

From the wikipedia :

Fountainstown (Baile Mantáin) is a small town in County Cork, 15 miles south of Cork city. It is a seaside town with impressive views of Ringabella and Roches point. The coast road between Fountainstown and Myrtleville is a popular promenade. Five minutes from the town centre is Fountainstown house, an impressive stately home built by Lord Fontaine in the 18th century.
