Vacation in Brazil.

We arrive at Vila de Itatinga.

It is located in the foot of the Mountain Range of the Sea.

This is the site of one of the oldest hydro-electric

plants in the country, Usina Hidrelétrica de Itatinga

and still runs today.

The town was built by the English and inaugurated on

10th October 1910. It houses the workers. It consists of

70 houses of the same style and architecture sited along

either side of the straight road and rail leading to the plant.

The town has a school, a medical post, bakery, club and a

chapel.
