These milky way shots are still a work in progress for me, but as someone who enjoys nightscapes and long exposures I have really come to enjoy these experiments. This one here took me about an hour to shoot in all, getting various exposures for the sky and then running some long exposures to get the ambient lighting on the landscape and hand blending everything in photoshop. I hope to get some more sessions in this summer as I feel that I'm starting to figure it out a little more.
