Extreme macro

by silva_joao_carlos

Well, I read about some people putting microscope lens on 3D printed adapters.

Why not? Decided to give it a try.

Found one adapter for micro 4/3 ( www.thingiverse.com/thing:4618673/files ) that in fact is well designed with internal structures to reduce reflections and gave it a try.

My first print was a mess (I know that the outside looks very neat but inside it looks like the aftermath of a hurricane ) but decided to use it anyway (11 hours printing so I had to give it some use).

Notes: On the E-M10 the vibration from shutter is a mess so silent shutter is mandatory (but maybe I can work out something) .

Note2: Actually silent mode is not mandatory. The setup shown is a tricky one. Had spent some time taking random shots and the results are interesting. Holding the thing by the front is a way of achieve something. It needs a lot of light so iso 6400 will be.

Will post updates.
