Kanab & Kanosh | DEC 2006

Had a business meeting in Kanab, Utah that coincided with a Brian Kershisnik open studio in Kanosh.

I stopped in Kanosh going both ways, and mentioned my final destination to Brian who remarked that, when he said where he lived (Kanosh), folks would often remark "Oh, is that near Kanab?" — as if the cities in Utah were alphabetically arranged. They're actually a couple hundred miles away from each other... and I was the first person he'd ever met that was actually going to Kanab from Kanosh.

On my return trip, I stopped and watched a production of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night hosted by Brian's wife's children's Shakespeare acting company.

A lot of fun all around.
