Nicey Jane hexies

I'm hoping to make a table runner or... a coverlet if I'm feeling ambitious. o__O

Depending on the desired size, the outside hexagon should be 1" larger than the center hexagon all the way around. For example: if your center hexagon measures 2 1/2 ", your outside hexagon should measure 4 1/2".

 

I do not have the templates mentioned instead I used EZ Quilting Hexagon template by Darlene Zimmerman. This one: www.simplicity.com/p-1479-hexagon-acrylic-shapes.aspx

 

Just like the online tutorial, you can sew the folds using your sewing machine (has anyone tried blindhem stitch?) or (punish yourself like I did) by hand.
