Heather-Toni 2010-10-01

Heather-Toni is a friend of mine, she describes herself as a cybergoth and she loves to get dressed-up - elaborately.
She asked me to do a shoot for her and I jumped at the chance, we did this in Muizenberg on a Sunday morning with a blazing sun - took all my skills to get her nicely lit, so often the backgrounds were overexposed, but I was not too worried about that. It was, after all, a glamour shoot and the focus is on the model.
What I liked best about shooting Heather is that, unlike most goths, she's not depro - she was having a wonderful time and it shows, her smiles are the genuine smiles of a model who is actually loving every second of it. That is a pleasure to shoot. She is also a gorgeously sexy girl who can make any picture look good - which made the task of selecting what to keep and what to throw away all the more daunting.
